„Rīgas satiksme" reminds about updated route planner available on its website

„Rīgas satiksme” reminds that starting from March 2014 the company’s website at www.rigassatiksme.lv offers an updated route planner, which enables every visitor of the website to plan his/her route not only by entering the initial and final public transport stop, but also addresses, the nearest railway stations or sights.

An opinion poll carried out on the company’s website suggests that 34% of respondents have tested the new route planer and admitted that it functions properly, 16% have not tested it so far but are going to, and 39% have not yet tested the route planner’s new functions.

"Rīgas satiksme” informs that in order to plan a route you have to enter the necessary public transport stop, address or any of the sights into windows „No” (From) and „Uz” (To) on the company’s start page. The website will automatically offer several options, one of which the user has to confirm. Then the user has to click on „Atiet” (Departure) or „Ierodas” (Arrival), choose the necessary time and press the „Search” button. After that the website will offer the most suitable route, more options, as well as the map showing the route.
